Shadow once was an autobot fighting alongside Optimus Prime she was his best warrior on the team and a good friend to her teammates, she is a seeker who once worked as a guard in Uraya helping fend off the Predacons.
One day when everyone was just settling down Ratchet got a lock on an energon signal, faint but it was there “we must secure the energon before the decepticons find its location, Ratchet open the ground bridge” Optimus ordered and Ratchet did what he asked “autobots, roll out!” he cried and in an instant they were transported to a deserted area “where are we?” Shadow asked, Optimus looked around scanning the area “looks to be an abandoned military base, autobots keep a sharp eye out for the signal and keep a lookout for any unwanted visitors” they all split up into two teams and chose a sector to look in.
Wheeljack, Bulkhead, and Arcee took the one side of the area and Optimus, Shadow, and Bumblebee took the other side
-If any of you find anything comm us so we can assist you, but do not engage before we get there-
Optimus ordered over the comm, Shadow, Bumblebee, and Optimus split up a bit to cover more ground Optimus went on top a huge slope to get a sense of the area, Bumblebee was scouting the lower areas making sure it was safe and see if the energon was near him, and Shadow wondered a bit too far from the others (Shadow may be Optimus’ best troop but she likes to wonder a bit) and found a huge boulder hoping to be something behind it so she moved it as best she could and found a cavern
-uh, Optimus I may have found something-
Shadow commed
-good work Shadow, we will be there shortly-
Optimus replied and the comm went dead
Shadow stayed at the entrance of the cavern but couldn’t resist the urge to look inside even though she knew not to engage before Optimus and Bee arrived, she walked inside but not too far from the entrance “no, no please have mercy!” Shadow heard someone in the cavern and it sounded familiar “you have had enough chances, you have failed me one too many times Starscream now meet your demise” a deep tone escaped the cavern and Shadow knew who it was she couldn’t wait for backup she had to engage now, Shadow silently slid down the incline into the cavern.
And hid behind a pillar and she listened to their conversation before doing anything “master please I won’t fail you again I swear on my spark!” Starscream was on his knees pleading for his life but Megatron looked discouraged “never again will I let you walk in my presence again” Starscream on his knees and hands together praying he won’t end is life “I’ll leave, I’ll leave the decepticons then just please have mercy!” Starscream pleaded
-Shadow where are you?-
Optimus asked
-in the cavern, I know I disobeyed but Starscream and Megatron are down here and it looks like Megatron is really gonna end Starscream's life-
Shadow whispered so they wouldn’t hear
-alright, we are coming down to assist-
Optimus asurred
Shadow heard Optimus and Bee sliding down the incline into the cavern and they hid behind two pillars which were right next to each other “ok what do we do?” Shadow asked trying to look behind the pillar, Optimus scanned the cavern and found a high ledge “Shadow can you get up to that ledge to get a sense of what’s around us?” Optimus told Shadow and she looked at the ledge “gonna be hard getting there without being seen but sure” Optimus nodded “we will make a distraction to by time for you to get up there” Shadow went behind another pillar to get away from whatever distraction they were planning to do.
Bumblebee throws a rock at the other end of the wall across from Shadow, Megtron looks behind him wondering what made the sound Shadow jumped up the wall scale getting to the ledge but missed by a couple of inches and slid off the edge but caught herself on the ledge trying not to make a sound Shadow pulls herself up and kneels down near the edge Megatron moves back towards Starscream and points his fusion cannon right at him getting ready to shoot “Megatron please, I beg you!” he shouted as if shouting to Primus to spare his life.
-Optimus he might do it this time I know Starscream is a decepticon but can we at least do something?-
Shadow pleaded Starscream shouldn’t die for his arrogance
-He shouldn’t even though Starscream has done some things that may irritate Megatron but there might be a chance that we can change him from Megatron’s path-
Optimus stated
Optimus transformed his right servo into a blaster and shot Megatron’s fusion cannon to take him off aim, Megatron spotted Prime and Bee behind the pillars he started to aim at them then Shadow started shooting at Megatron from behind taking him off aim, Starscream shot at Shadow and damaged her wing but she was still shooting at Megatron, then Megatron finally turned around and shot Shadow in the torso she fell from the ledge unable to get up “Bumblebee gather Shadow and retreat” Optimus ordered Bumblebee nodded he transformed and drove towards Shadow he Transformed and picked up Shadow, the ground bridge opened from the centre of the cavern Optimus ran in along with Bee carrying Shadow.
They made it back to base with everything intact (mostly) Bumblebee rushes Shadow to sick bay to get patched up after fixing her chassis Ratchet walked up to their leader “Optimus can I have a word with you?” Ratchet requested Optimus nodded, they went to the treasury to have a private conversation “I don’t think we should have Shadow in the field anymore” Ratchet looked at Optimus with worry “what do you mean?” Optimus responded “I mean this is the fifth time she has gotten injured it’s depleting our energon resources and I think Shadow will be better if she stayed here when it comes to missions” Optimus thought about it for moment.
“Alright but I think Shadow should have a training area to help get her strength back” Ratchet agreed and they headed back to sick bay, when they got back Shadow was waking up Ratchet walked to her side “settle down you don’t want to strain yourself” Ratchet assured “I’m fine I don’t need to lay here all day” she smiled “you just lost a lot of energon if you keep forcing yourself you’ll pull one of your stitches” Ratchet helped Shadow lay back down Optimus walked up to Shadow “Shadow we think it may be best for you to stay here during our missions” Shadow looked confused “what do you mean?” Optimus looked into her optics “you will be staying here during missions but have a training area for you to build yourself back up”.
Shadow sighed “but I’m more useful in the field” she exclaimed Ratchet chuckled Shadow’s optics darted towards Ratchet “what’s so funny?” she asked “it's just the only useful thing you’ve done is deplete are supplies” Shadow looked down “we just think that your a bit rusty is all from your guarding duties back in Uraya and not about that and that you should train before going back into the field” Optimus explained Shadow nodded in agreement, Ratchet patched up Shadow’s wing “what are the humans doing?” she asked curiously “it’s a human thing it’s called video games” Arcee responded “forgot you haven’t been here that long” Shadow looked over the railing to watch them play their game.
Jack looked over his shoulder and noticed Shadow staring at the tv “hey Shadow what you doing?” as he stared back at the game “watching you play” she replied and she got up and headed to the treasury “and where do you think your going?” Ratchet ordered Shadow turned to face him “just going for a walk” Shadow replied and walked closer to the hall “Shadow may I join you?” Ratchet asked “why so you can criticize me again?” as she continued walking Ratchet followed “I didn’t mean to make you feel like I didn’t like you, I’m just under a lot of stress with our supplies depleting at an alarming rate and I’m trying to not lose another one of us one was enough even though it took a piece of him away from us” he explained Shadow looked down at the ground feeling sorry for the old field medic “I didn’t know but who was taken away?” Shadow acted confused about what happened “Cliffjumper” right when he said that name Shadow froze in place as if something had locked her joints into place “no, no not him”.
Shadows optics went wide from hearing that name “how did this happen?” she wondered Ratchet stared at Shadow “you didn’t know did you?” Ratchet was surprised to see Shadow like this “of course I didn’t know how would I know that my mentor was dead?!” Shadow shouted in sadness “wait mentor?” Ratchet now confused doesn’t recall Cliff mentioning he was a mentor “ya he was my teacher he also asked me to help him and the other wreckers to guard the Well of All Sparks back on cybertron when the war started” she explained “well I’m sorry but we couldn’t get there in time before he got captured we were scattered between time zones” Ratchet tried telling her Shadow turned away from Ratchet and walked away from him down to the treasury and Ratchet didn’t bother upsetting her more so he turned around and went back to the command centre by the time he made it back the proximity sensors were going off Ratchet walked up to the system to find out what caused it “Optimus it’s a message… from Megatron”.
Optimus walked up to the console to read the message “autobots we are going onto the Nemesis” he ordered with everyone in shock “Optimus with alder respect there are thousands of cons on the ship how are we gonna get on it without being seen?” Arcee questioned and Optimus stared at her “with an invitation from Megatron” everyone still in the state of shock they shake it off and listen for his orders “Ratchet open the ground bridge to these coordinates” Ratchet nodded and started up the ground bridge before Optimus passed through Shadow ran up to him “just let me go with you this will be my last mission just please let me go” Shadow looked at him with most sincere and Optimus nodded and passed through with everyone else.
When they passed through they were surrounded with cons that were aiming right at them, the autobots ready their weapons but they heard a low tone booming the corridor “well, well, well it’s nice to see that you got my invitation Optimus, lower your weapons and we can chat on the bridge” Megatron suggested and Optimus nodded at the thought so they followed his command “Decepticons lower your weapons” Megatron’s voice bounced off every surface possible and the cons followed his order “autobots follow me” as Megatron walked towards the bridge they all followed and the vehicons went back to what they were doing, they made it to the bridge and Megatron closed the door so they would have some privacy while chatting “Optimus it’s been sometime since we last spoke face to face but it’s not the time for social reenactment I need your help” Megatron told them and Shadow narrowed her optics onto the corner of the room and noticed something off, someone was standing in the corner but ran and all Shadow got was a shadow of whoever was standing there and fled.
Shadow tuned back onto Megatron who was talking to Optimus about his problem “something is wrong with my followers and my medic Knockout can’t figure out what but they haven’t been listening to anything the comms, my orders, or if they are called up to the bridge and some of them have been fighting against their own” he explained “this isn’t really a problem that we can help you with it’s mostly a problem that you have to deal with on your own” Shadow snapped and Megatron glared at her with hatred not saying anything to her “we will try our best to figure out the problem” Optimus assured Megatron nodded and escorted them to their quarters.
Shadow layed on her berth staring at the ceiling then someone knocked at her door “come in” she yelled and the door opened “well someone looks comfortable” Knockout observed “what do you want con” Shadow replied Knockout frowned a bit “well that's no way of greeting me” he snickered Shadow growled at him “how am I supposed to treat you, your a con, my enemy” Knockout sat at her desk getting comfortable “that is true but even cons can change” Knockout smirked Shadow chuckled a bit “that’s clearly not possible Optimus has been trying to change every cons mind about following Megatron” Shadow sat up on the berth and scowled at him with hatred, Knockout put up his servos in surrender “alright, alright you win this round” he got up from his seat and walked towards the door and it opened when he stood in front of it “oh and Lord Megatron would like to see you on the bridge immediately” and he walked into the hall Shadow thought about why Megatron would want to see her, she jumped off the berth and walked out towards the bridge.
Megatron was waiting at his station when he heard the door open behind him and he knew who it was “well, Shadow thank you for meeting me” Megatron turned around and bowed in front of her “what is this about?” Shadow demanded and put her servo on her hip waiting for a response Megatron stood straight once more and put his servos behind his back “I’m just interested to meet you, I never seen you before” he observes the autobot in curiosity “alright” her optics narrowed “what do you want to know?” Megatron thinks for a minute “anything really” he snickered “well I was a guard in Uraya back on Cybertron” Shadow bragged “that’s interesting how many Predacons did you fight off?” he snickered once again “how should I know I wasn’t told to keep track” Megatron thought for a moment “is that so? You must be a very loyal troop to Optimus then” Shadow nodded and Megatron grinned “if you could leave the autobots, would you?” he asked very confidently Shadow didn’t really know how to answer that she thought for a minute “I guess I wouldn’t, ‘cause being with them it makes me feel like I’m home again” Shadow stared into Megatron’s optics and he didn’t seem happy with that answer. Megatron snapped his figures and before she knew it she was knocked out from behind.
Shadow was coming too and saw Knockout at his station checking vital signs “oh your up, it usually takes a couple of hours for others to wake up” he pointed out Shadow tried to move but realized that her servos and pedes were tied down “wait, what” she said to herself “you must be wondering why you were knocked out and tied down” Knockout asked bringing over a scanner “why are you gonna scan me?” Shadow replied Knockout snickered “to see what makes you what you are, your clearly special in some way so Lord Megatron wants results” he pointed the scanner at her pedes first and moved up to her helm “mm” he murmured and took the scanner back to his station then Starscream burst through the door angrily “Knockout, Lord Megatron is waiting for results stop ponduring with that autobot!” Knockout let out a sigh and rolled his optics “at least I’m doing my job unlike SOME people!” Knockout snapped back Shadow just watching from the sidelines thinks that she should bud in but might get yelled at for doing so “I am doing my job Knockout I am informing you that Lord Megatron is waiting!” Starscream replied “well fine then here’s the scanner, all the data that was collected is on here” Knockout handed Starscream the scanner as he snatched it away “well about time” and he stormed out of the clinic Knockout sighed once more “about time he left, now where is it” Knockout rummages around the clinic looking for his syringe “ah, here it is” he tells himself and walks back over to Shadow, he inserted the syringe into her rotator cuff to get a sample of her energon he takes the syringe out of her rotator cuff and takes it to his lab “I’ll be back, don’t go anywhere” he suggested and left the room, Shadow tried moving around a lot hoping to get lose but the shackles were too tight around her wrists.
Shadow looked around the room looking for something that she could possibly use then she remembered she could use her blaster, Shadow transformed her servo into a blaster and shot the shackles on her pedes, she transformed her blaster back into a servo and used her legs to push her up hoping to break the other two shackles. Eventually it worked and flung onto the ground from the force she used to free herself and Knockout walked back into the clinic “well, it’s gonna be a few minutes till we the-” he noticed Shadow on the ground starting to get back onto her pedes, Knockout tried to comm commander Starscream stepping back a bit until Shadow punched him in the face and shackled him to the table where she was laying “that should keep you their for a while” she smirked “what are you planning to do, escape? This place is swarming with cons” Knockout remarked and Shadow shook her head “no, I’m gonna find Optimus and tell him what happened to me and take us back to our base” Shadow started to walk out while Knockout yelled for help with the door closing behind Shadow.
Shadow found Optimus on the other side of the ship and told him what had happened Optimus then nodded and tried to comm the rest of the team but the comm link was being jammed somehow. Optimus told Shadow that they need to find the others and regroup Shadow nodded and followed Optimus’s lead. They looked all over the ship but they couldn’t find any of their team members so they headed towards the bridge to speak to Megatron about the matter, they reached the bridge and saw Megatron at his post with him staring right at them “is there something wrong Optimus? You look concerned” Megatron snickered “what have you done with my team Megatron” Optimus ordered, Megatron laughed a bit “Optimus, we both know that I am not one of your soldiers” Shadow transformed her servo into a blaster and ran up to Megatron, pinning him up against the wall, pointing her blaster towards his spark chamber “Optimus will not repeat what he has asked, where...are...our...teammates?” Shadow tried her best not to yell, alerting every con on the Nemesis but also trying to be intimidating at the sametime “Shadow stand down” Optimus ordered and Megatron snickered “listen to your leader...Shadow” Megatron grinned widely and Shadow huffed lowering her blaster and transformed it back into a servo and backed away from Megatron, Shadow turned around facing Optimus than Megatron grabbed Shadow by the arm and held her in place, pointing his fusion cannon at her head.

She’s not worth anything, just a meer seeker nothing more” Shadow struggled to get out of his grip. his grip tightened with every struggle. Megatron laughed a bit “she’s weak, I’m surprised she was a guard in Uraya” Shadow elbowed him in the side which let his grip loosen and she moved away from him before he could grab her again “but since your eager to find your team Optimus, I’ll give you a hint there somewhere open” Shadow glared at Megatron and transformed her servos back into blasters “this whole ship is open, there’s not just one open area that doesn’t count the outside of the ship”, Optimus then thought of something and looked down at Shadow “what if the open is outside of the ship” Shadow looked up at Optimus “the flight deck” she transformed into a jet and flew up to the flight deck, Optimus turned back to Megatron and grinned “well, it seems you are clever, clever enough to fall into my trap”, metal bars rose up out of the floor and trapped Optimus on the spot, Megatron moved closer to him, laughing “how foolish, and now you won’t ever see one of your own for a very long time and don’t even think about trying to escape those bars have a very strong electric pulse which will damage all your systems and paralyze you temporarily” Megatron walked passed Optimus and out of the bridge.
Shadow zipped through the ship to get the flight deck. She got to the deck but no bot was there, Shadow transformed and walked more out to the open, looking around hoping to find something then a bunch of troopers came out from the sides of the ship along with one con she doesn’t recognize, Shadow transformed her servos into blasters getting ready fire “I wouldn’t do that, the troops got a major upgrade so they are more combat ready and harder to destroy” the mystery con snickered “so I would surrender here and now Shadow”; Shadow have heard that voice before but was unsure of who it was “before I do, who are you!” she yelled making sure he heard her “do you not remember...partner” Shadows optics widened “C...Cross Racer?!” Cross Racer nodded at her knowing that she still remembers, Shadow transformed her blasters back into servos and fell to her knees “I thought...you were...dead” shocked, she didn’t notice that she was being dragged away and put in the brig, before they closed the doors Cross Racer walked inside, signaling the troops they shut doors, locking them in “why did you think I was dead?” Shadow stared at the floor not paying attention to what he asked, Cross Racer walked up to Shadow and grabbed her neck making her look at him in the optics “why did you think I was dead?” Shadow pushed him away “I thought you were dead because I watched you die!” Shadow shouted “I’m just confused now that I see your alive even though that’s impossible”

Optimus walked up to the console to read the message “autobots we are going onto the Nemesis” he ordered with everyone in shock “Optimus with alder respect there are thousands of cons on the ship how are we gonna get on it without being seen?” Arcee questioned and Optimus stared at her “with an invitation from Megatron” everyone still in the state of shock they shake it off and listen for his orders “Ratchet open the ground bridge to these coordinates” Ratchet nodded and started up the ground bridge before Optimus passed through Shadow ran up to him “just let me go with you this will be my last mission just please let me go” Shadow looked at him with most sincere and Optimus nodded and passed through with everyone else.
When they passed through they were surrounded with cons that were aiming right at them, the autobots ready their weapons but they heard a low tone booming the corridor “well, well, well it’s nice to see that you got my invitation Optimus, lower your weapons and we can chat on the bridge” Megatron suggested and Optimus nodded at the thought so they followed his command “Decepticons lower your weapons” Megatron’s voice bounced off every surface possible and the cons followed his order “autobots follow me” as Megatron walked towards the bridge they all followed and the vehicons went back to what they were doing, they made it to the bridge and Megatron closed the door so they would have some privacy while chatting “Optimus it’s been sometime since we last spoke face to face but it’s not the time for social reenactment I need your help” Megatron told them and Shadow narrowed her optics onto the corner of the room and noticed something off, someone was standing in the corner but ran and all Shadow got was a shadow of whoever was standing there and fled.
Shadow tuned back onto Megatron who was talking to Optimus about his problem “something is wrong with my followers and my medic Knockout can’t figure out what but they haven’t been listening to anything the comms, my orders, or if they are called up to the bridge and some of them have been fighting against their own” he explained “this isn’t really a problem that we can help you with it’s mostly a problem that you have to deal with on your own” Shadow snapped and Megatron glared at her with hatred not saying anything to her “we will try our best to figure out the problem” Optimus assured Megatron nodded and escorted them to their quarters.
Shadow layed on her berth staring at the ceiling then someone knocked at her door “come in” she yelled and the door opened “well someone looks comfortable” Knockout observed “what do you want con” Shadow replied Knockout frowned a bit “well that's no way of greeting me” he snickered Shadow growled at him “how am I supposed to treat you, your a con, my enemy” Knockout sat at her desk getting comfortable “that is true but even cons can change” Knockout smirked Shadow chuckled a bit “that’s clearly not possible Optimus has been trying to change every cons mind about following Megatron” Shadow sat up on the berth and scowled at him with hatred, Knockout put up his servos in surrender “alright, alright you win this round” he got up from his seat and walked towards the door and it opened when he stood in front of it “oh and Lord Megatron would like to see you on the bridge immediately” and he walked into the hall Shadow thought about why Megatron would want to see her, she jumped off the berth and walked out towards the bridge.
Megatron was waiting at his station when he heard the door open behind him and he knew who it was “well, Shadow thank you for meeting me” Megatron turned around and bowed in front of her “what is this about?” Shadow demanded and put her servo on her hip waiting for a response Megatron stood straight once more and put his servos behind his back “I’m just interested to meet you, I never seen you before” he observes the autobot in curiosity “alright” her optics narrowed “what do you want to know?” Megatron thinks for a minute “anything really” he snickered “well I was a guard in Uraya back on Cybertron” Shadow bragged “that’s interesting how many Predacons did you fight off?” he snickered once again “how should I know I wasn’t told to keep track” Megatron thought for a moment “is that so? You must be a very loyal troop to Optimus then” Shadow nodded and Megatron grinned “if you could leave the autobots, would you?” he asked very confidently Shadow didn’t really know how to answer that she thought for a minute “I guess I wouldn’t, ‘cause being with them it makes me feel like I’m home again” Shadow stared into Megatron’s optics and he didn’t seem happy with that answer. Megatron snapped his figures and before she knew it she was knocked out from behind.
Shadow was coming too and saw Knockout at his station checking vital signs “oh your up, it usually takes a couple of hours for others to wake up” he pointed out Shadow tried to move but realized that her servos and pedes were tied down “wait, what” she said to herself “you must be wondering why you were knocked out and tied down” Knockout asked bringing over a scanner “why are you gonna scan me?” Shadow replied Knockout snickered “to see what makes you what you are, your clearly special in some way so Lord Megatron wants results” he pointed the scanner at her pedes first and moved up to her helm “mm” he murmured and took the scanner back to his station then Starscream burst through the door angrily “Knockout, Lord Megatron is waiting for results stop ponduring with that autobot!” Knockout let out a sigh and rolled his optics “at least I’m doing my job unlike SOME people!” Knockout snapped back Shadow just watching from the sidelines thinks that she should bud in but might get yelled at for doing so “I am doing my job Knockout I am informing you that Lord Megatron is waiting!” Starscream replied “well fine then here’s the scanner, all the data that was collected is on here” Knockout handed Starscream the scanner as he snatched it away “well about time” and he stormed out of the clinic Knockout sighed once more “about time he left, now where is it” Knockout rummages around the clinic looking for his syringe “ah, here it is” he tells himself and walks back over to Shadow, he inserted the syringe into her rotator cuff to get a sample of her energon he takes the syringe out of her rotator cuff and takes it to his lab “I’ll be back, don’t go anywhere” he suggested and left the room, Shadow tried moving around a lot hoping to get lose but the shackles were too tight around her wrists.
Shadow looked around the room looking for something that she could possibly use then she remembered she could use her blaster, Shadow transformed her servo into a blaster and shot the shackles on her pedes, she transformed her blaster back into a servo and used her legs to push her up hoping to break the other two shackles. Eventually it worked and flung onto the ground from the force she used to free herself and Knockout walked back into the clinic “well, it’s gonna be a few minutes till we the-” he noticed Shadow on the ground starting to get back onto her pedes, Knockout tried to comm commander Starscream stepping back a bit until Shadow punched him in the face and shackled him to the table where she was laying “that should keep you their for a while” she smirked “what are you planning to do, escape? This place is swarming with cons” Knockout remarked and Shadow shook her head “no, I’m gonna find Optimus and tell him what happened to me and take us back to our base” Shadow started to walk out while Knockout yelled for help with the door closing behind Shadow.
Shadow found Optimus on the other side of the ship and told him what had happened Optimus then nodded and tried to comm the rest of the team but the comm link was being jammed somehow. Optimus told Shadow that they need to find the others and regroup Shadow nodded and followed Optimus’s lead. They looked all over the ship but they couldn’t find any of their team members so they headed towards the bridge to speak to Megatron about the matter, they reached the bridge and saw Megatron at his post with him staring right at them “is there something wrong Optimus? You look concerned” Megatron snickered “what have you done with my team Megatron” Optimus ordered, Megatron laughed a bit “Optimus, we both know that I am not one of your soldiers” Shadow transformed her servo into a blaster and ran up to Megatron, pinning him up against the wall, pointing her blaster towards his spark chamber “Optimus will not repeat what he has asked, where...are...our...teammates?” Shadow tried her best not to yell, alerting every con on the Nemesis but also trying to be intimidating at the sametime “Shadow stand down” Optimus ordered and Megatron snickered “listen to your leader...Shadow” Megatron grinned widely and Shadow huffed lowering her blaster and transformed it back into a servo and backed away from Megatron, Shadow turned around facing Optimus than Megatron grabbed Shadow by the arm and held her in place, pointing his fusion cannon at her head.
Optimus transformed his servo’s into blasters and pointed them at Megatron “let her go Megatron” he ordered and Megatron snickered once more “oh, and why should I? She’s not worth anything, just a meer seeker nothing more” Shadow struggled to get out of his grip. his grip tightened with every struggle. Megatron laughed a bit “she’s weak, I’m surprised she was a guard in Uraya” Shadow elbowed him in the side which let his grip loosen and she moved away from him before he could grab her again “but since your eager to find your team Optimus, I’ll give you a hint there somewhere open” Shadow glared at Megatron and transformed her servos back into blasters “this whole ship is open, there’s not just one open area that doesn’t count the outside of the ship”, Optimus then thought of something and looked down at Shadow “what if the open is outside of the ship” Shadow looked up at Optimus “the flight deck” she transformed into a jet and flew up to the flight deck, Optimus turned back to Megatron and grinned “well, it seems you are clever, clever enough to fall into my trap”, metal bars rose up out of the floor and trapped Optimus on the spot, Megatron moved closer to him, laughing “how foolish, and now you won’t ever see one of your own for a very long time and don’t even think about trying to escape those bars have a very strong electric pulse which will damage all your systems and paralyze you temporarily” Megatron walked passed Optimus and out of the bridge.
Shadow zipped through the ship to get the flight deck. She got to the deck but no bot was there, Shadow transformed and walked more out to the open, looking around hoping to find something then a bunch of troopers came out from the sides of the ship along with one con she doesn’t recognize, Shadow transformed her servos into blasters getting ready fire “I wouldn’t do that, the troops got a major upgrade so they are more combat ready and harder to destroy” the mystery con snickered “so I would surrender here and now Shadow”; Shadow have heard that voice before but was unsure of who it was “before I do, who are you!” she yelled making sure he heard her “do you not remember...partner” Shadows optics widened “C...Cross Racer?!” Cross Racer nodded at her knowing that she still remembers, Shadow transformed her blasters back into servos and fell to her knees “I thought...you were...dead” shocked, she didn’t notice that she was being dragged away and put in the brig, before they closed the doors Cross Racer walked inside, signaling the troops they shut doors, locking them in “why did you think I was dead?” Shadow stared at the floor not paying attention to what he asked, Cross Racer walked up to Shadow and grabbed her neck making her look at him in the optics “why did you think I was dead?” Shadow pushed him away “I thought you were dead because I watched you die!” Shadow shouted “I’m just confused now that I see your alive even though that’s impossible”
