Sharing With The Class
Snake N. Ips
Our hearts tied with chains
Our necks tied with rope
We sit in our chairs
 And choke on our hope

With facades we smile
We pretend to care
We await our trial
The pressure to much to bear

We begin to speak
What a waste of time
I’d rather be writing
That would be sublime

But alas we must deliver
Words without soul
Lips without quiver
Our hearts, unlit coal

We finish our reading
And listen to more
Our ears are all bleeding
We try to ignore

The words of the rest
All feel the same
My feelings are dressed
Hiding my shame

You may think it caring
You may think it great
But i tell you that sharing
Is something I hate.
