The sea of the heart

In everyone is an amount of water
in some a lake
in some a river
in some an ocean
in some just a puddle
A sea of emotions…
But what happens when you throw a stone into it?
exactly, it sinks
But it leaves circles on the surface before…
waves unseen
Stupid miracles of science
the volume of an object
displaces a certain amount of water
makes it rise
like life throws stones in your way
people throw stones into your water
and they will gather up deep down inside
heavy…
From where do you think comes to bottle something up?
But at some point
there are too many stones
and those too many stones displace too much water
and this rising water will reach its limits
and step over its borders
There is too much in your heart
that your sea of emotion will flood you
it’ll overflow your whole soul
and it’s hard
not to drown...
A beautiful and peaceful ocean
can turn into a raging, dangerous storm
sinking and destroying all those ships
which aren’t strong enough to sail on it
To not to drown
you must learn how to swim
But always remember!
A castaway can only survive his long, exhausting travel
back to land
if he isn’t alone
To fight against
his sharks of self-doubt
he needs friends to be his life boot
Some sirens to lead him in the right direction
But to finally travel
he needs to let go of his anchor
which may once have been his safety
but only drags him down now
This journey will form him
will make him stronger
wiser…
and when he finally reaches safe land
he can get rid of his stones
and the ocean can calm down
But until then
the pain of the flood
and the power of unstoppable water
running over its borders
will replace the air in your lungs
And yes those who only have a puddle
will never understand…
But those who got overflowed by their ocean
are not weak!
They are even stronger because they learned
to surf their waves
in some a lake
in some a river
in some an ocean
in some just a puddle
A sea of emotions…
But what happens when you throw a stone into it?
